A message to you from WARA …
The West African Research Association (WARA) is an organization made up of individuals who support the dissemination of accurate information to the globe. It is clear that there is still a lot of work to be done at home in terms of education, and we support our partners in the US who are also working diligently to that end. We encourage everyone to stay informed on current global events in order to formulate educated opinions on the reality of the world around them, and eradicate the kinds of assumptions that lead to pain, distrust, and hate. We live in a world where accurate information is easily accessible to the masses, but understand that not everyone knows how to access the correct information. We encourage the seeking of knowledge through scholarly materials from experts in their fields, such as those who make up the WARA network, and remain wary of impulsive, uninformed claims that unfortunately are also abundant and just as easily accessible. We need to continue to work towards keeping ourselves informed and rational if we would like to make any progress.
